Alan and his wife Sylvia, joined Gillespie in 1972 and he became an elder in 1975. From 1974 until the early 1990s we, along with a great team of Gillespie folk, led the Sunday school (now renamed the Youth Church). Alan is a faithful man of prayer with a passion to serve the Lord in his daily life.

Tom and his wife Rosemary with their family joined Gillespie Memorial Church in 1978. For a long number of years, he served in the Youth Church, ultimately leading the teenage ‘Youth Fellowship’ and he has many fond memories of the happy times spent sharing the Gospel with the youngsters. Tom has been a Church Elder since 1981 and is a member of the Welcome Team and the Pastoral Care Team.
